If you’re keen on driving to Andorra yourself, then flying into BCN is a good idea because you’ll easily find a rental car here. Transfer options from this airport are abundant.
Toulouse-Blagnac (TLS)
TLS is another budget-friendly option for tourists wanting to visit Andorra since it is serviced by low-cost airlines such as easyJet and Flybe. It also serves a range of domestic and international flights.
From here you’ll have access to daily shuttle transfers to Andorra that run thrice a day. Renting a car here and driving up the mountain is not recommended since the roads are prone to poor conditions during winter. However, in summer, it’s a pleasant drive.

It’s the airport of choice for many travellers and Andorran locals owing to its proximity. That said, its single asphalt runway spanning 1,400 meters long makes it unsuitable for large and mid-size aircraft.
Additionally, the airport’s 800-meter altitude requires pilots to be proficient in navigating the topographical challenges faced when landing and taking off. This may cause apprehension in people who aren’t used to travelling in small aeroplanes, but rest assured it’s safe.
