Map reading seems to be a lost art these days, but if you want to make the most of your ski trip in Andorra, or any ski resort for that matter, familiarising yourself with piste maps will go a long way.

Andorra ski maps are available at every nook and corner of the country, but it helps to have one on your phone too. That way you can crank up the brightness, zoom in, and plan your adventure from wherever you please.

Below you’ll find piste maps for the most prominent ski domains in Andorra, particularly Grandvalira, Ordino Arcalís, Pal Arinsal, and La Rabassa.

Grandvalira

Grandvalira is the largest skiable domain in Andorra and nearly every major resort in the principality is affiliated with it. These resorts include:

Knowing the ski map for Grandvalira alone will get you acquainted with pretty much all the ski terrain in Andorra. Here’s one for your reference.

Ordino Arcalís

Nestled at the far end of the Ordino Valley, Ordino Arcalís ski resort is on the quieter side compared to others within the Grandvalira region.

Its north-facing slopes ensure dependable snow quantity and quality throughout the ski season, which lasts until spring. The resort has around 30 kilometres of marked pistes of the following classifications:

  • 11 yellow
  • 2 black
  • 9 green
  • 7 blue
  • 6 homologated FIS

Here’s what the Arcalis piste map looks like.

Pal Arinsal

Previously known as Vallnord, Pal Arinsal ski resort is situated in La Massana and combines the two main sectors of Pal and Arinsal.

The ski area boasts 63 kilometres of marked slopes at a maximum elevation of 2560 meters. Here’s a detailed piste map for your reference.

La Rabassa

La Rabassa is the only ski domain in Andorra that does not fall under the Grandvalira umbrella since it’s owned by Naturland Adventure Park.

It’s worth noting that the trails here are meant for Nordic or cross-country skiing, so if that’s your thing, you’re going to want to take a look at the following piste map.
